The music ministry of Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church enables musicians of all types to express their faith through God’s gift of music. From traditional choral anthems to the latest in contemporary Christian music, Mt. Chapel’s music ministry provides many diverse and excellent ways of praising God. We have a variety of groups for all ages….from the Chancel Choir, The Bachmann Handbell Choir, Grace Notes, to solo and instrumental opportunities. The Music Ministry is committed to serving Christ by producing music at its highest level of excellence in praise to Christ. We welcome anyone interested in becoming a part of this great ministry and look forward to getting to know you and sharing in the gift of music in worship.
There are many opportunities throughout the year for special programs, concerts and worship events such as the Music Ministry’s annual A Festival of Carols during Advent and special musical offerings during the seasons of Christmas, Lent, and Easter. Our children sing throughout the year in a variety of offerings from worship services to musicals. During the summer months, the Summer Lights series offers a unique and different worship opportunity for families, by inviting excellent musical guests and/or collaborating with other musical groups within our city for larger scale music productions.
